Mr. Deepak Amitabh belongs to the 1984 batch of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), and is on secondment to PTC India Limited since September 2003. With more than 21 years of experience in audit, financial analysis, revenue mobilization and management, he has been instrumental in the corporate finance initiatives of the Company, including IPO in 2004, QIP in the year 2007.

Mr. Amitabh has been responsible for devising risk management systems for various power market transactions, including fuel linkages and is also a whole-time Director on the Board of Directors of PTC Financial Services Limited (PFS).

Prior to his current assignment with PTC, he has held positions of financial advisor to Director General, Naval Projects in Mumbai and Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, New Delhi as well as Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai.
